Being human—it’s not easy. And perhaps, it wasn’t meant to be. Despite it’s many challenges, living a life of meaning, connection, and joy is the birth-rite of each one of us. Perhaps the biggest journey we will take in this lifetime is the return to our innate wholeness and claiming tha we belong here, we have unique gifts to give the world, and we are going to experience the full spectrum of life.

It’s up to us how we make meaning and grow from life’s inevitable obstacles.

I believe that we are not meant to navigate life alone. Each one of us comes from a lineage of humans who lived an earth-based, community-oriented life. We celebrated, grieved, and lived the spectrum of life together. We are hard-wired for connection-to each other and the more than human world. With the absence of this connection in many a modern person’s life, it’s no wonder so many suffer from loneliness, depression, meaninglessness, and distraction.

It doesn’t have to be this way. You don’t have to suffer alone. Therapy can be the beginning of a journey to reclaim your life.

Though my modalities are many, I work with each client without judgement and without the need to fix anything. The journey of healing is about coming back to our innate wholeness, not trying to fix what is broken. I also have a deep conviction that our separation from the natural world creates dis-ease and dysfunction in our individual and collective lives. I use approaches from: Internal Family Systems, Humanistic Psychology, Psychodynamics, Ecopsychology, and others, to inform my work with clients.

I come to the work of therapy with trust in the truth that:

  • We are nature:::separation is an illusion

  • We are not broken, there is nothing to fix

  • Psychological distress can be alleviated by coming back to wholeness within the self, connecting to the more-than-human world, and understanding our Soul’s deepest longings

  • What we desire to feel is here for us at any time

  • We are born to live in awe and gratitude

  • We aren’t meant do it alone

Your soul is waiting for you to come home. When we shine from the inside out, all of life begins to reflect back to us the love, grace, beauty, and temporary miracle that we are.

I work with:

  • children & teens, adults, couples

  • life transitions/rites of passage/grief

  • personal transformation

  • women's issues

  • existential concerns

  • anxiety, depression

  • seekers, dreamers, soul-searchers, wanderers…

“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner." I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.”
